Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving business growth? WebArt Consultancy and Services is seeking a dynamic Business Head for the regional office of our esteemed client in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop business strategies that enhance sales and profitability in the region.

Responsibilities

As the Business Head for the regional office, you will oversee business management and strategic development for the region. Collaborating with the leadership team, you will support the development of corporate strategies and AUM growth strategies, aiming to maximize the company's long-term performance. Meeting monthly business and profitability targets by expanding the customer base and selling various investment products aligned with customer investment goals will be critical. You will be accountable for both individual and regional targets. You will establish strong relationships with key customers and directly support select UHNI clients with their investment management needs. Assisting the sales team in client acquisition, onboarding, service, and operations will be essential. You will conduct regular customer portfolio performance reviews and team performance reviews, and prepare and present business presentations as required by senior leadership. Recruiting investment sales, advisory, and support services team members will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will foster strong working relationships between various functions and teams, develop an effective communication system to ensure team members are motivated, developed, and supported. Regularly training and coaching team members on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer handling skills, while sharing industry insights, will be expected. Managing the lead bank generated through various marketing campaigns to maximize conversions and minimize time lags will be vital. You will lead all sales and marketing initiatives for the region, ensuring prompt resolution of client enquiries and concerns to achieve customer success and business excellence. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and streamlining internal workflow processes to manage business-related information effectively and transparently, will also be part of your role.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, presentation, and team management skills. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, with a strong passion for helping customers protect and grow their finances. A desire to work in a start-up investment boutique environment, strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and expertise in sales, negotiation, client management, and knowledge of investment and financial markets are essential. Educational Qualification and Experience Requirement Candidates should have a graduate or post-graduate degree with 10-12 years of rich experience in the investment management sector. Deep knowledge and experience in equity sales will be preferred, and experience in team management is necessary.
